Winter in Upstate New York

I was traversing the back country roads of upstate New York when I came upon this pastoral scene. Snow had just started to fall and was moving across the field from the distant birch trees to the farm outbuilding seemingly within reach. Gazing upward, the falling snow blended into the cold, gray sky. Posted by Picasa

Well done. I anjoyed this. I spend a great deal of times on roads all through the East and in fact all through the states. And I used to live in the Berkshires. It's nice to hit this blog -- the next click after mine. Cheers, S

Hmmm, my original comment disappeared. No great loss. I enjoyed this. Have spent many good hours on roads all over -- especially in the area you have been in. Cheers, S

I always enjoy taking Metro North from the city and looking at the views along the Hudson River.
